The End of the World – Not What You Think!

No, this post isn’t about a pandemic or economic collapse or an EMP.  All those things would be devastating, but if they happen, they are still in the future.  But what about if you could see and identify without a shadow of doubt, that the end is here?

The Bible makes it pretty plain.  Paul, writing to Timothy, says how people will “be” in the last days.  The Scripture is found in 2 Timothy 3.  After reading the passage, listen to Francis Chan discuss how this is happening right in front of our eyes.

Could you be one of the people that Paul discusses?  You don’t have to be.  God has something great for you…BUT, it’s not really ALL ABOUT YOU!

But know this: Difficult times will come in the last days. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for what is good, 4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to the form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid these people!

6 For among them are those who worm their way into households and capture idle women burdened down with sins, led along by a variety of passions, 7 always learning and never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so these also resist the truth, men who are corrupt in mind, worthless in regard to the faith. 9 But they will not make further progress, for their lack of understanding will be clear to all, as theirs was also.

Francis is one of the guys who gets it. Our churches are full of tares and so many pastors who don’t preach truth and to many fans of Jesus. We have to remeber judgement of God comes because of the failure of His people to do their job of reflecting God and making disciples. Most church goers have never lead anyone to Christ or been involved in discipleship. Its sad to me. I pray everday. God bring labors to your harvest feild here. Cut off the dead branches and make us fruitful. Some may call me crazy but if we really belive that we are nearing the time of Gods wrathand j6dgemen5, and if I belive my neihhbors are going to hell should that make me live different. Should that not provoke me to action, or do I not really believe, my action reveals my true beliefs. Okay keep at it love the site… from one flock tender to another
