Hope in this Hour – That Which Endures.

I have spoken to many believers who feel a little defeated in the world they see around them. But, it is important to remember that our hope in God is not based on what we see around us. And although it is hard for some believers to accept, our faith and hope in God is not based on what is happening in America either. God is bigger than all of it.

My brother shared this video with me. It is a great message for our hour.  The message is titled, “That Which Endures” and comes from Pastor Steve Riggle of Grace Church.  For more sermons, check out their media page.

Then Elisha prayed and said, “O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” And the LORD opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.–2 Kings 6:17.

Don’t rely on what you see, but on the Lord who spoke the Universe into existence.

The king came seeking the man who was telling events before they happened (Elijah). It is interesting in that passage of scripture that Elijah told the king that the man he was looking for was not there, but he would take him to him — although it was Elijah the king was seeking. Call it ‘disinformation’ in military jargon, or lying, that’s what happened.

Incidentally, the Lord blinded the eyes of the king and his entire army not to realize it was Elijah!!! Not until Elijah took him to the king of Israel did the Lord open the kings eyes and he realized it was Elijah, the man of God whom he was seeking in the first place.

We must rely on the Lord and His grace to get us through, regardless of the circumstances or situation!!! The Lord will do what needs to be done to accomplish his divine plans and purposes.

    Blessings on all,

    Son of Liberty
