Prayer: Week of July 13, 2015

NOTE: When I was emailed with the idea of including a prayer post, I thought it was a great idea! The hope for this prayer and others like it that you might find on this website and receive through subscribing to the email list, is that it will provide the Christian Prepper with a prayer that would start their week or even start every morning or prayer time. Feel free to include your own prayer in the comments if you feel led to. Also, please feel free to forward this link or email to your praying friends!

Praise God for the good cup of coffee!

Praise God for the warm bed!

Praise Him for the breath in my lungs

and the roof over my head!

Praise God for my heartbeat!

Praise God for my family and friends!

Praise God for sending Jesus,

His love never ends!

Lord we come before you this week and ask for your continued blessings in all our efforts to reach the lost with the Truth of the Gospel. We ask that you clear any obstructions that seek to hinder and block our voices. We ask for Your strength to endure the taunts and mockery from the enemy, as the enemy senses blood in the water. Lord give us your Spirit to endure all things, to be loving and reflect Jesus; to be salt and light to the lost who You are even now calling to repentance and be saved in this late hour near Tribulation.

Use us to plant the seeds of Your salvation offered freely to those who will accept it. Keep us in prayer Lord for our lost loved ones, friends, enemies and Leaders that they heed Your calling. We ask for Your guidance so that we may hear Your voice every day, as we choose our words carefully and direct them toward Your purpose.

We pray for peace between neighbors in our land.  We pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

In Jesus’ Name,

Something that I have found myself doing often in the last few weeks, when I hug my children, “God thank you for this child, protect them, strengthen them, and thank you for them, for this hug, for the love of a child,” when I kiss my wife, “God thank you for all the wonderful days, and for this woman, and this kiss”, and when I eat a snickers I think, “God thank you for this, I am going to miss this, I really should store some more of these” But I am more thankful for everything, thinking tomorrow this could all be gone, and I might not have the hugs of my children, the kisses of my wife, the conveniences I have grown accustomed to, and yet even so Lord come quickly because there are days when I just look at all the brokenness around me and the evil that is so common and accepted, and my heart is heavy and I know His must Break more….and they don’t even want the freedom that the Creator offers and that is even more sad, because the healing He offers is what they need…
